Position Summary:

The Recruiting Assistant's day to day tasks include managing and coordinating the Director's calendar, working independently on projects, and undertaking a variety of recruiting support tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask effectively while under pressure and still have a high degree of attention to detail and discretion to handle a wide variety of tasks. The assistant will also need to have strong verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with potential candidates and fellow peers at all times. The assistant will be communicating with staff at all levels, as such, they will need to be able to interact professionally while still remaining resourceful and efficient. A strong Recruiting Assistant will be exceptionally organized to manage the Director's interview schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates meetings, interviews, appointments, and events and ensures that the Director's calendars are kept current and correct
  • Manage Director's time and keep them organized
  • Prepare presentation and meeting materials when necessary
  • Prepare pre-screening interview questions, interview questions and Google Forms
  • Compose letters, emails, reports and other written documents as assigned
  • Proofing important communications as needed
  • Research and support the implementation of special projects in support of making Get Air's recruitment process more efficient
  • Coordinate with other departments to stay up to date on park openings and positions that need to be filled
  • Analyze current positions to have a strong understanding of what is expected for future candidates
  • Compose job descriptions that capture what each position entails with appropriate details and accuracy
  • Filter through resumes and applications for every position
  • Analyze interactions with potential candidates to see if there is a spot for them at our company
  • Keep up on job posting requirements to ensure our listings are published at the optimal time of the week
  • Attend career fairs to actively recruit potential candidates through a professional presentation
  • Coordinate with Director to deliver an engaging and informative New Hire Orientation on a weekly basis

  • Flexibility to handle both routine and impromptu assignments with minimal supervision
  • Professional judgement and discretion skills
  • Spreadsheeting proficiency

Education and/or Experience:

  • College degree preferred, or equivalent HR/Recruiting experience
  • Administrative experience preferred

Computer Skills:

  • Microsoft office products
  • G Suite console -- Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.
