Position Summary:

The Inventory Specialist position will keep track of all inventory and maintain inventory records. The Inventory specialist will monitor, manage, and maintain inventory stock levels. They will communicate and solve any issues that may arise to managers, as such professional business communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have inventory management experience in a warehouse setting. Basic math and strong interpersonal skills will be critical to performing successfully. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with data, paperwork, and information systems and be prepared to utilize systems regularly. Due to the need for accurate inventory records at all times, the ideal candidate will be exceptionally organized and have a good eye for detail.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Use software to manage and record inventory counts
  • Audit all incoming and outgoing shipments, and current inventory in the warehouse
  • Maintain an accurate record of inventory count at all time
  • Resolve any issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain communication and a good working relationship with other managers, directors, and all employees to ensure strong coordination of other functions such as shipping and receiving, quality assurance, and production
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all health and safety standards to ensure a safe workplace for all employees
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information

Experience and Qualifications Requirements:

  • Professional judgement and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field
  • A strong technical capacity
  • Familiarity with data entry and information systems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma, additional education preferred
  • Previous inventory management experience

Computer Skills:

  • G Suite Console
  • Inventory Management systems
  • Data entry systems
